Para español, por favor encuentre el botón de idioma al final de esta página.
The portal is for enrolling students new to Vallejo City Unified School District (VCUSD). Current VCUSD students do not need to re-enroll.
Welcome to Vallejo City Unified School District's enrollment portal! Our online enrollment process allows you to quickly register your student for school and gather information such as emergency contacts, immunizations, and language preferences.
If you need to pause, you can log out and resume later by clicking the "login" button and entering your account information.
To enroll your student:
- You must have a valid address within the Vallejo City Unified School District boundaries. If your address is outside district boundaries, please contact registration@vcusd.org.
- You must have a valid email address. If you don't have one, Google provides free accounts.
- You may need a computer to complete this process, as the system works best on a desktop or laptop rather than mobile devices. Please visit your school site to access a computer.
- Gather all documents needed to complete your student's enrollment.
Once you submit your student's application, the information will be forwarded to their school. Please allow 48 hours for the front office staff to process the application and contact you to confirm enrollment.
Transitional Kindergarten (TK) Eligibility
Vallejo City Unified School District offers preschool services through its child development program. If your student does not meet the transitional kindergarten (TK) age requirement, the program may contact you to explore preschool options and determine eligibility.
VCUSD provides TK to children who meet the following age requirements:
2024–2025 School Year: Children who turn five years old between September 2, 2024, and June 2, 2025.
2025–2026 School Year and Beyond: Children who will have their fourth birthday by September 2, 2025, are eligible for TK.
School Closure and Consolidation
At the Feb. 19, 2025, VCUSD Board of Education Meeting, the governing board voted to close Mare Island Health and Fitness Academy, move Vallejo Charter there, and close Loma Vista Environmental Science Academy. As a result, enrolled students may be reassigned to a different school site, pending new home school boundaries that will be shared at the end of March or early April. In the meantime, please visit our website to learn more about the discussions around closure and consolidation.
